Come to discover one of the most famous museum in Aix en Provence located in town.

This museum, rich in discoveries, allows you to discover a superb collection of 73 works by great masters.

The collection includes a remarkable set of nineteen artworks by Alberto Giacometti (paintings, sculptures, drawings) created between 1940 and 1969, as well as works by Cezanne, Pablo Picasso, Fernand Léger, Piet Mondrian, Paul Klee, Balthus, Giorgio Morandi, Bram van Velde, Nicolas de Staël, or even Tal Coat.

Outside the Museum, located in the Chapel of the White Penitents, you will find the Planque collection

This great Swiss collector has built up a collection of nearly 300 paintings, drawings and sculptures from the impressionists and post-impressionists (Cézanne, Monet, Van Gogh, Degas) to major artists of the twentieth century such as Bonnard, Picasso, Braque, Léger , de Staël or Dubuffet.

For the 2021 season, the Granet Museum is pleased to offer you the "Pharaoh, Osiris and the Mummy" exhibition devoted to ancient Egypt. Find major pieces such as bas-reliefs from the great pyramid of Cheops, several first-rate stelae, a sarcophagus and its mummy, the extraordinary mummy of the Nile monitor lizard and, among other monumental pieces, the royal colossus of the line of the pharaohs Ramses. Find this event at the Granet Museum until September 26, 2021.
